To disable colour blindness testing, select Full Colour, or tap the sash in the top right hand corner of the screen. All the major colour blindness types are supported, including protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia and monochrome. To preview your design as it is seen by those who are colour blind, simply tap on the glasses icon in Skala View, then tap the colour blindness type you’d like applied. Skala Preview works well with most of the popular design tools.
With Skala Preview and Skala View connected, you can copy images to the clipboard to send to your iOS or Android device.
When you overwrite the file, the updated version will be sent. A huge range of image formats are supported, including PNG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, TGA and some PSDs. With Skala Preview and Skala View connected, drag images to the Skala Preview window or Dock icon on your Mac, and they’ll appear on Skala View on your iOS or Android device.
For instructions on how to set this up, please read Skala Preview and Photoshop. If you use Photoshop, then this is the method we recommend using. Sending images in realtime with Photoshop # Doing so will mean connecting devices will have to be approved again. To remove previous authorizations, choose Reset All Authorizations from the Settings menu. This happens once for each device connected (and only via Wi-Fi). Once Skala Preview and Skala View have found each other, you’ll be prompted to approve the connection. Your Mac and mobile device will need to be on the same Wi-Fi network to see each other. Then, tap the computer icon in Skala View to see the list of available computers.
To connect and start previewing images from your Mac, launch Skala Preview on your Mac and Skala View on your iOS or Android devices. Connecting Skala Preview and Skala View # If you’re using an Android device, or would prefer to use Wi-Fi to send, please ensure your device and Mac are on the same Wi-Fi network, and that all required ports are open for Bonjour to work. If you’re using an iOS device, the fastest and most reliable way to send is by plugging in your device to your Mac via a USB cable. Seeing your design in situ is the best way to ensure colour, contrast and element sizes are optimal.
